You're reading and hearing that right. In the recently leaked development disc comprising of Sega games for the Sega Channel, a prototype of Yu Yu Hakusho: Makyō Tōitsusen was found and in it was the famed song in the sound code, easily accessible in the Sound Test. Obviously, it was just a placeholder and wasn't intended to be in the final game.
