SMRPG Revolution Bestiary Analysis 02 - No Cakewalk, Mushroom Way!

Super Mario RPG was made by Squaresoft (now Square Enix) & Nintendo, released on the Super Nintendo. Super Mario RPG Revolution is a ROM modification of the original game.

NOTE: This is a reboot of a Bestiary Analysis that I did a year or so and never finished. This time it will be finished.
Mushroom Way is still relatively easy in the hack because it serves as a warm-up area. For some, it'll serve to be a place of judgment on whether or not you should continue on. Goombas, Paratroopas and Spikeys are still the enemies around here and they're still pretty standard. Safe for changes in their attack patterns and statistics. You're going to see more than 1-2 damage here! As for the end of this area, the boss guarding the exit will test you on how well you've gotten used to timed attacks and defense. If you have trouble beating this guy at Level 3, you may be level grinding a lot in this game. There are no spots where the difficulty goes down exactly, maybe except for the bosses.
Afterwards, we make it to the first town and get our first party member. And no, he's not green.
Also, the specifics of the hack:
- Characters can go level up to Level 50
- All bosses and enemies' battle scripts changed
- Character stats changed around and balanced
- Spells reworked with more appropriate names and different stats, balanced as well
- All Enemy stats changed
- Battle Messages before using specials have been removed.
- Dialogue changes (Mostly in-battle, but some out-of-battle as well)
- New enemies and enemy name changes
- Well-balanced difficulty curve
- Timing for Weapons, defense and spells changed (tightened) considerably
- A few new enemy attacks and spells
- Some rebalanced and new equipment/items.
