Xploder has a bizzare method of achieving progressive scan which sometimes actually works with games that normally refuse to work with GSM.
What it does it renders every field as a separate frame so if you bob your head in front of the TV you'll see scanlines because the process of deinterlacing was never triggered. But the image looks correct as long as you don't shake your head up and down all the time ^_^.
