Easier ones. The last level before the front door of Bowser's Castle is simple, but not easy. If you can knock out the Lakitus when they appear on screen, do so, so there are less hazards to dodge while on the bounce blocks. Also, you bounce on all sides, so stay on the edges of the bounce block platforms, to avoid being bounced off the side and into the hole.
The fortress is also not too bad if you have powerups, except there's one jump that's next to impossible without the cape.
