Sorry for some audio screeches at the beginning of the video. I don't know why Bandicam or perhaps Vegas Pro did that. I saw the audio spectrum in the timeline editor where those sharp pitch noises are and I don't know how to fix it so apologize for that again if it hurts your ears or quite annoy you.

Here it is! The full overworld of JUMP½!

I had so much fun playing this game! It was less difficult than the original JUMP so it was more enjoyable. I don't even know how to expand this introductory statement tbh. I mean I saw some new creators and old creators from the first version of this hack. Hack is really good. Took me a few days to complete it but I'm glad I did! It was worth it in the end.

Pros:

➤ Level design and mechanics are brilliant and unique from my SMW hack playthrough experiences and from the first one as well.
➤ Simple vanilla design maintained and at the same time provide enjoyable experience.
➤ Usage of custom music but also keeping some classic music in it.
➤ A lot of useful shortcuts.
➤ Movies and cinemas for hard and tricky levels return!
➤ Just like the cinema level, outposts and campsites scattered around the overworld for guides, freebies, power-ups, and purchasable custom items that greatly aids in playthrough such as fast boots for the overworld.
➤ Insane puzzles and gimmicks like the one from 'Color a Dragon' by Isocitration.
➤ Beautiful design for the last world as it was purely sketched, drawn, or something.
➤ The boss battles on certain normal levels, Bowser, and Morsel were all so epic as it delivered a real challenge.
➤ You can change to different characters to play which makes the game more refreshing and exciting!


Cons:

➤ The only thing I would complain about this is the difficulty of it, lol. I had to watch raocow's playthrough just to solve parts that I'm stuck with. Other than that, it's flawless.


Conclusion: Glad raocow got a level here! Overall, it's a super fun and challenging hack. Lot's of gimmicks. I've been learning a lot of new tricks and mechanics due to the level designs and it's a really great sequel to JUMP! I hope they would probably make a third one to make it a trilogy, haha. My favorite has to be that one room in 'Milky Way Base' where you throw a baby Yoshi above and it comes out depending on the color of the paint or water you threw it into. It's such an easy way to get any type of Yoshi unlike the one from Isocitration where you have to gamble to get a random Yoshi color. Anyway, I was so tempted to give it a perfect ten but I suck at the game, I keep using savestates because I keep failing, and I was raging a lot on the parts I keep failing, lol. However, I think this rating should just be rounded to 10 anyway, idk. I honestly enjoyed this sequel compared to the first one so I'm happy that it's slightly easier and more fun. Not my #1 favorite SMW ROM hack but surely one of them and a memorable one too!
