I like the thematic progression of arriving at a pyramid that you climb, but I wish a bit more care went into enemy selection and placement in the second half, which has vertical orientation. Sometimes spikes will fall from off-screen or enemies will fall off platforms before you reach them. Otherwise, this manages to be fairly easygoing despite leaning toward castle enemies and running a bit long. I enjoyed it overall.
