SMZ3 Randomizer Keysanity Multiworld - (3) Nobody's Perfect
Raz, NaBF, Brick, and... who was that masked man?
It's Nobody, don't worry.
Multiworld, Keysanity
Players: Raz, NotAButtFace, Brickroad, + Nobody
Run "starts" at 13:03 with an explanation of Nobody% (also explained below). Gameplay starts at 18:33 after Nobody's items are distributed.
What we are dubbing "Nobody%" sets the multiworld up with one extra player named Nobody. Nobody immediately forfeits at the start of the game, sending their items (~75% of their total on average in a 3-of-4 player game, or about 79 items) to all other active players. This gives the active players some tools to work with and a bunch of checks to do. In my observation, this seems to smooth out issues where the entire seed stalls out because of one check that someone hasn't gotten to, or if players are of unequal skill levels... there's more checks players have available initially, so they will spend more time playing the game instead of accruing bonks (though there will be time for that for, WELL, REASONS).
The drawbacks are that (in a 3-of-4 player multiworld) that roughly 25% of the items active players find go to Nobody, and that all your logic is completely broken (so do those yellow checks if you know how to... might as well, since you're already out of logic!). Still, we were able to actually finish this in a rather reasonable time for 3 players.
Enjoy!
