Snake Byte (c) Sirius Software 1982 for the Atari 8 bit line of computers

A cute title screen and a timeless principle. Unfortunately, that's all there is to this game.

The controls are just not tight enough, responding within the movement cycle, but sometimes as-if not working at all. Just see how many times I ran into a wall - despite me really pressing a directional key, and even more than once. Simply, you have to properly time it and hold the direction for long enough to register. Not really thought through well.

Frankly, for a game like this, to me it's close to a showstopper. Twice was enough for me, and that for a long time.

Oh yes, not to forget - the sounds seem to be the same as in their 1982's Cyclod game, basically, farting sounds as-if produced by ZX Spectrum.

Using the Atari800Win PLus emulator (http://www.a800win.atari-area.prv.pl/) with standard Atari 800XL settings (XL/XE / 64kB RAM / PAL mode).
