28Let's Play Zero Escape: The Nonary Games, starting with the one that apparently started it all Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors or 999. This is one of Spike Chunsoft's original big titles, right up there with Steins;Gate and Danganronpa. Unlike those other two games, however, we will be taking on a much bigger task as we are now expected to solve a series of puzzles to escape the various rooms standing between us and freedom. In this title we take control of Junpei, your average super-normal protagonist who is plucked from his home in the dead of night and forced to participate in a high stakes game of death on board a sinking ship. The puzzles are not the only thing that needs to be solved as Junpei finds himself surrounded by a colorful collection of strangers, each one with a secret that must be revealed. Plus who is the kidnapper? Why are they doing this? What justifies the chance of a grisly death that awaits those of us who fail? Let's try to find out as we fight our way through 999!
