After being defeated soundly by The Boss, a week will pass and they'll be redeploying Snake into Russia in order to retrieve Sokolov again. More scenes will play covering some of what happened between now and The Boss defecting while Snake is hospitalized.

A long conversation between President Johnson and Khrushchev will occur, setting up the plot for the upcoming events: one week to catch The Boss, recover the remaining nuke from Volgin, and eliminate Volgin while also proving the US's innocence in this affair.

METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER is a remake of the 2004 stealth-action game Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, featuring updated graphics and 3D audio to enhance the jungle atmosphere and survival elements. Developed by Konami and built on the Unreal Engine 5, it follows Naked Snake during the Cold War as he infiltrates the Soviet Union to rescue a scientist and prevent a global war. The remake is a faithful reimagining of the original, with modern controls and visuals, but retains the original story, voice acting, and music.
