4We'd like to think that we've gotten waaaaaay better at being shooters and sneaky donkeys since we started playing Apex Legends. While there have been improvements, our style of "Hide and let everyone else kill each other." has never changed.
Apex Legends is Respawn's take on the Battle Royale formula. Set in the Titanfall universe, the game pits 20 three man teams against each other on a map called King's Canyon. Much like other battle royale games, players must scour the map and pick up weapons, upgrades, armour, and ammo. There is also a closing ring mechanic which reduces the playable area until all combatants are near each other. Unlike other battle royale games, Apex Legends has players choosing from a pool of Legends, each with their own unique abilities ranging from calling in carpet bombings to granting them vision of the enemy.
