SNES Classic Completion - Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts (Final Part)
17The final session of Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts, and when I say final session, I mean final session.
Truth be told, I don't think the game was that bad as people made it out to be. It was hard, but I felt the game was still pretty reasonable (most of the time anyway). The RNG-heavy dependent enemies were a bit BS, and don't get me started on the controls, but I feel like I kept my composure most of the time, even moreso than with Super Castlevania IV and Super Punch-Out!!
With that being said though, I'm not going for the true ending. After watching a review from somecallmejohnny, a reviewer and gamer's opinion I really trust and respect, I've determined the true ending is not worth a second playthrough, especially with the added challenge the bracelet puts on you during the last level, a level that put me really on edge and made me really angry. In other words, why should I force myself to suffer here? I don't see the point, so I'm leaving it at that and moving on!
