1*Warning: At 19:21, I went to an outburst due to the situation "getting in my face" repeatedly when I tried to look at SNK vs. Capcom topics on social media and yes, I know it can be avoided, but it was just getting frustrating. And also yes, I do tend to get into the "companies' faces" to let my voice be heard when their something concerning about the games. Sadly, at the end of the day, these are just businesses and they're probably just trying to cover their bases.

with the release of SNK vs. Capcom, it seem there are controversies. The game boots up with a disclaimer stating this game doesn't value their beliefs from their past, and then the trailer in the West is censored compared to the Japanese version.
I can tell you that the game itself is un-altered, and I think whoever made the decision probably wanted to cover their bases just in case a concern parent might complain.
I want to make a note that I don't like censorship, I didn't like how Sony force one of my favorite company into modifying some of their game, with that said, in this situation, I think it's non-troversy since the game is not altered and the promotion art is not included in the game.
