Two weeks ago, a series of wildfires hit the area where I live, destroying over 3,000 homes, and uprooting thousands of families. I was one of the thousands of people who had to evacuate. I was fortunate. I have a home to come back to. Many others do not. Homes, possessions, even lives have been tragically lost in this tragic event, including some of my friends' homes, who now have a long road to recovery.

Since I was one of the fortunate ones who have a home to return to, I want to do my part to help those who do not. I want to try to support some of those who are going through such a hard time, and I want to see what I can do to help those who have lost so much in this event.
