Final Ninja Zero is the prequel origin story to the Final Ninja series from Nitrome. The game takes place in a dystopian future, where evil companies rules the world! It's about the ninja, Takeshi, who has been sent to stop Dr. Victor Boshi, an evil scientist, that works for one of these companies. Specifically the Merlock Food Pharma Corp. Dr. Boshi keeps inventing heavily addicting foods that are harmful to people, while at the same time developing medicines to counter the effects of those foods, making people buy even more! The owner of the company, Maxwell Merlock, has also stopped by Dr. Boshi's base, just as Takeshi is infiltrating it, making it even more dangerous for him.
With the aid of his boss, Akuma, and the mysterious Lady Snow Fox, Takeshi has to sneak into the base and take out Dr. Boshi and Maxwell Merlock. But that is no easy task, as the base is heavily defended by various traps, turrets and robotic guards! Takeshi has to use all his ninja skills to finish his mission, throwing ninja stars, swinging with his ninja ropes and use his camouflage to blend into the background. But even with all these skills, this is a dangerous mission for our Final Ninja.
