okay so I was taking out my I3 CPU. and I was wearing gloves to prevent shock. I think you already know where this is going; the pins caught on to my right glove and ended up pulling some of them. the terrible decision here was what type of gloves I was WEARING: apparently I didn't have actual anti-shock gloves, they were golf gloves. the pins got caught onto the net of the glove whilst taking it out of the socket ( I have an LGA 1200 board by the way), I should've used tweezers, that's when I realized. so I can already predict that it probably will not post. it was my dumbass decision for not buying actual anti-shock gloves.
