Thanks to ‪@theflashyturtle‬ necromancer video - I was inspired to revisit them (since they used to get decimated by the 3rd boss) - they are much stronger now due to a smaller "small unit" penalty... don't think I could get them too much further in endless without some luck, or doing a post-infinite swap.
