This is the reality of what arena feels like to be a Warlock 99% of the time. It does not matter the rating, if its Skirmishes or Rated, or if it's 2s or 3s. Warlocks (All Specs) are almost always the Kill target, and for whatever reason, with any other class, if the enemy DPS doesn't feel they are making progress on the kill target, they may switch Kill targets, or even use spread pressure tactics, but they never do with Warlocks. They will stay on you, stun you, snare you, interrupt you, and use all their cool downs on you until you are dead, or your team wins.

Sometimes ( as in this match and on smaller maps) you don't even have time to "Set up" your Teleport and Gateway for optimal use, because DPS will train you with laser focus right out of the gate, then will use all their burst, all their interrupts, and all their Stuns, and snares on you, and you alone. Playing warlock in arena is never really fun, it can be satisfying at best if you have partners that can help control the enemy and a good healer. Fortunately with Stamina Trinket, and Unending Resolve and a good healer combine with mobility you can usually keep yourself alive long enough (Barely) to start turning the tide of the fight.


While Orc is definitely a great choice for Warlock because of both Passive and Active Racials, I find myself playing Void Elf these days, as that one extra teleport can really get you out of a jam, and No push back while casting is a nice little bonus as well.


I have been playing Affliction Warlock in Arena since WotLK, and this total tunnel vision hate towards warlocks has never changed.
