We made sokoban on a BASYS-2 FPGA board using VHDL with 2MB of eternal flash memory utilizing SPI protocol.

"VHDL (VHSIC Hardware Description Language) is a hardware description language used in electronic design automation to describe digital and mixed-signal systems such as field-programmable gate arrays and integrated circuits. VHDL can also be used as a general purpose parallel programming language."

This is a game programmed entirely in hardware using VHDL on the BASYS-2 board with fully implemented RAM and ROM.

The goal of the game is to fill the pits with boulders and make it to the stairs. There are 12 levels in total, 3 different tile-sets and 30 sprites altogether, and 4 levels per tile-set theme: Blue to Green to Red.
