Sokoban: The RPG Playthrough - Episode 1 - A Tricky Riddle
Blind playthrough.
Welcome to the first episode of my blind run of Sokoban: The RPG! This game is particularly special, and is one I've had my eye on playing for some time now, because my good friend Mikeastro was the developer. You might recognize his name from the many Portal 2 chambers of his that I've played for the channel. If the quality of his Portal 2 puzzles are any indication, the puzzles in this game should be excellent.
So far the game is quite fun, and the boulder-pushing puzzles aren't overly challenging, but I anticipate them getting quite more complicated later on. The riddle took me a long time to work out on paper, and was a daunting way to start off the game, to say the least!
When all has been taken away and certainty is scarce, who do you trust? The enigmatic authorities and bystanders? Or the perpetual walls of imprisonment?
A bright girl named Lewis, about to attend university, finds herself trapped in a dark room with only her name and a companion named Tom. After reading a cryptic message on a small note, a journey of delicate riddles and challenging puzzles commences, slowly providing Lewis with more clues about the events leading up to her sudden predicament. Mistakes are not an option, for the consequences are shrouded in a veil of uncertainty…
