Here's a look at 1997's Solar Assault from Konami! This arcade exclusive game is basically like if you took Space Harrier and married it with the Gradius series of games. You take control of one of three ships with different power ups and play a behind the back, 3D version of Gradius!

I used to play this game a lot as a kid whenever I'd go to Disney World and then the game vanished. Special thanks to Doc and the crew from The Galloping Ghost for keeping this one!
