We decided to avoid some fights after seeing the monsters' CR (challenge rating) - deadly for some (refer to D&D XP allocation). A minimum of level 5 would probably be safer as we will have more HP, two attacks (for the barbarian and ranger) and level 3 spells (cleric and wizard).

So far, we're enjoying the freedom of choice on quests' directions as compared to the 1st campaign, Crown of the Magister.
