Soldier of Fortune: Payback for the PlayStation 3. Completed on the easy difficulty.

Aside from the cartoonishly over-the-top gore, SOF: Payback is a very mediocre FPS made by the budget-priced developer Cauldron instead of Raven Software. The story also has no ties with the John Mullins lore, instead putting the player in the boots of Thomas Mason, a mercenary of the Shop doing missions across the Middle East. The story itself isn't all that interesting, and they have the nerve to end it off in a cliffhanger.

Considering that the game was developed by Cauldron who also made Battle for the Pacific, it uses the same engine. So, the gameplay in SOF: P is basically the same bells and whistles as BFTP, right down to the bugs, glitches, the guns with pathetic stopping power, the weak and unsatisfying shooting mechanics, and the braindead AI.
