Solid Gold is a Jump and Run game with eight way paralax scrolling. It's written for the
classic Amiga hardware and designed in the style of the early 1990s. Shown in this video is the game running on the modern Amiga systems - the AmigaOne X1000 by A-EON Technology Ltd and AmigaOne Micro-A1 C by Eyetech. As seen in the video, the game runs perfectly well on the AmigaOne X1000 under the E-UAE 0.8.29 PPC JIT emulator, while on the AmigaOne Micro-A1 C there are slowdowns during graphic refreshes and much more average CPU usage as seen on the CPU bar on the lower left of the Workbench.

The game was tested under the same version of the same emulator with same configuration settings in E-UAE. The AmigaOne X1000 is equipped with SpeedLink Strike2 gamepad (SL-6535), while the AmigaOne Micro-A1 C is with SpeedLink First Strike gamepad (SL-6530). The Amiga One X1000 is connected to the LG Flatron Wide display via HDMI-DVI cable connection (digital), while the AmigaOne X1000 uses VGA cable connection (analog).

Solid Gold created by Night OWL Design in Herford/Germany.
