Solid State Survivor | 1CC Normal Type-B | TLB-ALL
1st clear on Solid State Survivor!
Whew! This was a rough run! The most stressing part was to get to TLB with plenty of resources, and there were many parts that tried to anahilate me before reaching that point.
Solid State Survivor is a doujin shmup by KT.Software.
The game features 3 difficulty modes, Easy (fast bullets with low density), Normal (slightly slow bullets with high density) and Hard (even more bullet density with revenge bullets).
The normal ships are Type-A and Type-B. Type-C is unlockable by beating game once, and counts with a reflection field instead of bombs.
The main mechanic of this game is kill enemies to build up a combo multiplier, which affect the value of crystal items, generated from bullet cancels. The approach gauge increases from attacking enemies depending on distance, and acts as a secondary timer for the combo multiplier. If it depletes, the multiplier is reset back to x1.
Hidden medals are scattered troughout the stages, and their value is affected by the combo multiplier.
By pointblanking, you can deal more damage, and you can also notice an orange damage spark if you attack really close. Something similar to the pink pointblank damage spark in Dangun Feveron
The hidden 1UP item can be collected if the falling square is destroyed right before the Stage 5 Boss appears.
And lastly, the TLB appears if you 1cc the 5 stages. Does not appear on Stage Select.
