Solistream : Minecraft Redstone CPU - Sequences
Hello Youtube : About a year ago I started a project to make a working model of a CPU from only redstone. I completed the project a while ago but never decided to do a video on it. So now I am finally showcasing it in this small video series. More CPU videos will be on there way soon!
Specs:
- 16 Bit CPU
- 16 Bit ALU - ADD, SUBTRACT, AND, OR, XRO, NOT, RAND (Random number)
- 5x7 segment binary to decimal displays (Currently Broken)
- 8 Programmable lines of code with 12 bit instructions
- 4 Bytes of RAM (In the form of 2 16 bit registers)
- Program Counter can branch conditionally
- 16 ripple carry adders
- Manuel clock input, auto clock input = 0.5Hz (1 instruction every 2 seconds)
- 8 Bytes of total memory - A, B, U1, U2 registers, U1 & U2 can only be read not addressed, 1 x 16 bit/ 2 byte output display register, 7 seg screens also act as 16 bit reg too.
