8Approximately ten years prior to the present, interdimensional pathways known as "gates" began to manifest, linking our world with various other realms. Consequently, individuals with extraordinary abilities, referred to as "Awakened Beings," began to emerge within the general populace. These "Awakened Beings" possess the necessary strength to combat the monstrous entities residing within the dungeons situated beyond each gate.
These individuals are designated as "hunters." However, a significant disparity exists among hunters in terms of their capabilities. Among them is an E-Rank hunter, disparagingly known as "The Weakest Hunter of All Mankind," who faces a constant struggle for survival, even within the most rudimentary dungeons.
This hunter's name is Sung Jinwoo. Possessing meager resources, he ventures into these perilous dungeons primarily to provide for his family, barely earning a sufficient income to sustain them. His precarious existence takes a dramatic turn when he finds himself trapped within a lethal "Double Dungeon," concealed within an unassuming D-Rank gate. Resigned to what he believes is his imminent demise, he unexpectedly awakens to discover novel and peculiar powers. A quest interface, reminiscent of those in video games, becomes visible solely to him! This interface unveils a clandestine method of "Leveling Up!" Driven by this newfound opportunity, he now endeavors to "level up" by engaging in solo monster hunts and completing the system's unique quests. This marks the beginning of my walkthrough of Solo Leveling: Arise.
