Solo Valtan | Both Gates | Swift Reflux Sorc
3I thought I had enough damage to give solo a try, last time I attempted I was hitting 3.2m in Trixion on 4x3+1 and was just shy of pushing damage, post 5x3 and after Tripod update however I'm up to about 4.7m which is more than enough.
This was a free practice bus so I could learn the fight while solo better. Unfortunately I got absurdly lucky and encountered almost perfect wolf splits in gate 1 and zero timestop patterns in gate 2. Very unoptimal practice run since the game was handing the kill to me, so I plan to do another free practice run next week so I can encounter literally any of the mechanics of gate 2.
My Build:
Reflux, Raid Captain, Grudge, Hit Master, Adrenaline (5x3)
530 Crit 1640 Swift
Trixion Parse: Roughly 4.7-4.8m in 2 minute damage test
The one and only question I feel like I should probably answer:
Q: "Why no mana shield?"
A: It for sure works for the full swift reflux build, but in reality it's only purpose is to drain your mana, which Frost's Call does just as well on top of also contributing damage. Max movement speed is maintained through hitting 1630 swift (28% movement speed) plus the 12% movespeed from Nightmare relic set's Boundless Mana state. Mana shield is a saver alternative for lower damage :)
