In This Video We Are Looking At Solus version 4.6, which uses the “eopkg” package manager, which is a forked version of the PiSi package manager, and a special desktop environment called “Budgie” integrated with GNOME 2 developed by the development team, was announced by David Harder. Harder, who said that they are proud to announce Solus 4.6 , says that the system, which was introduced with Budgie 10.9.2, also comes with GNOME 46.5, XFCE 4.18 with Parole for multimedia playback, KDE Plasma 6.1.5 and KDE Gear 24.08 .1 and KDE Frameworks 6.6.0. The new version, built on the 6.10.13 Linux kernel, provides 6.6.54 for those who need the LTS kernel. While Mesa is being upgraded to 24.2.3, current software such as Firefox 131.0.3, Thunderbird 128.3.1, LibreOffice 24.2.5.2, QT 6.7.3, sddm 0.21.0 are also being made available.
