SOLVED: Parcel Pricing Puzzle in The Bank | Escape Simulator Gameplay Walkthrough | Puzzle Game
This #short will show you how to quickly understand and solve the puzzle that hides the dynamite required to rob the vault in The Bank escape room!
First, you'll need the spring to make the scale operational. This is found in Mailbox 404, but to open it, refer to the tic-tac-toe diagram in front of the sorting station in the post office. Notice the three red "0's" in the column between Mailbox 202 and 404 - this is telling you to set Mailboxes 203, 303 and 403 to "0" to open Mailbox 404. Once you've received the spring, open the bottom compartment of the scale and add the spring.
Now that the pressure plate on the scale is functional, we're able to figure out the pricing to ship each package. By inspecting the map on the wall, we notice that it states pricing is determined by multiplying the package weight by it's shipping cost:
Collect and weight the small package in the sorting area between the bank and the post office in the middle of the room - this'll be sent overseas to Paris, France. As we know per the poster that shipping overseas requires a multiple of 4, we can multiply the weight of this package (0.4) by the cost to ship overseas to get our total price - $1.60. This is our least expensive package to ship, and as such, will be the bottom two numbers of our lockup combination - 16.
Next, grab the larger looking package on the tabletop in the post office. This is to be shipped to Frorado. Again, referring to our poster, we know that it isn't the local state of Laurilee, nor is it a neighbouring state. It's two states away, which means that the shipping cost is a multiple of 2. After weighing the package, we see that it weighs 1.6. Multiply this by it's shipping cost for a total package price of $3.20, and input 32 into the top two numbers of the lock as this will be our most expensive package of the four.
The final solution for this puzzle's lock is: 3216
