Some Desperate Glory by Emily Tesh | YA Sci-Fi Marketed as Adult SF
I had a great time reading Emily Tesh's SOME DESPERATE GLORY. It's just that thinking about parts of it after the reading was done, well, it undid some of the novel's edifice and clarified its weaknesses. My enthusiasm, at first unconditional, soured somewhat - yet there's still a lot to like in Some Desperate Glory. I think it wasn't marketed the right way, though - and I can't be the only reader to have felt that, right?
Right?
