So, yeah, it's been a few days since I uploaded anything. I had been taking a break from uploading YT videos for a little while, but now I hope to eventually get back into my usual groove.

Anyway, in this episode, I do a TAS run of my Ice Block Cavern level. But, I don't actually complete the level, and instead do some... horsing around, if you know what I mean. (Turns out that it is possible to hit that block! I probably didn't need nearly as many P-switches or keys, though.)

Then, I find a way to suffer a pit death in my level (but, I will say that there's at least one other place where you can die to a pit in this level, and it doesn't require the horse).

Hmm... Was there a patch added to the VLDC9 Base ROM that made it so that you don't have to go nearly as far off the bottom of the screen in order for the game to declare you to have died to a pit?

Oh, and one other thing I discovered here... If you hit the silver P-switch very quickly after carrying it into the room right after midpoint, the pop-up messages in that room don't actually appear. I have a feeling the "Display Level Message 1" sprites are actually being turned into silver coins before they can display their messages. (But, those sprites are off the top of the screen, so you don't actually see those silver coins appear here.)

Let me know if you guys want be to do a real TAS that completes both exits (it likely would start off the same as this one, until I get to the part where I went for the cape).
