Some Guy Plays VVVVVV [21] Time Trials - V-Rank on The Final Level
7Woo! Perfected The Final Level!
I accomplished this not long after v2.2's game-crashing glitch in The Final Level was fixed a couple days ago.
Also, just listen to that awesome remixed version of Predestined Fate that was added to the first half of The Final Level with the v2.2 update!
Note: I did use the glitch that lets me pass through certain gravity lines in the Three's a Crowd room to save a little bit of time and potential frustration.
Also, in the Cosmic Creepers room at about 1:25, it really looks like I totally missed the rightmost platform and then flipped off of nothing there just before I hit the spikes. I think that I just barely clipped the platform, and then I managed to flip within that split-second window from stepping off a platform where the game will still let you flip anyway.
Oh, yeah. You can see the achievement notification pop up when I finish at about 2:05. Yep, with v2.2, this game's trophies are now Steam Achievements as well.
Alright, so the only levels I haven't V-ranked yet are The Laboratory and Space Station 2. I think I should be able to pull off The Laboratory before long (I've already had one run that died only once, and another run that didn't die at all, but I didn't go for the trinkets in that run). However, Space Station 2's another story, and surprisingly, not because of Veni Vidi Vici. Instead, I seem to struggle the most with the Gordian Knot room there.
Also, don't worry. I haven't forgotten about finishing The Dual Challenge. The next episode of that will probably be my next upload.
(Hmm... Should I number this episode "11 Beta" or "11 and a half" instead? Let me know!)
