SMW challenge by zeldafan024:
Clear 11 levels (including at least one castle, but not any levels from Yoshi's Island) by primarily flying through them with a cape. Also, I should try to get as many extra lives as possible. If something interferes with my flight, I should try to take off again as soon as possible. Save states are permitted between levels.

The original challenge called for me to get at least four 1-ups (with moons counting as only 1), but it's very easy for me to get many more than that! I tried to select some levels that would be more interesting to fly through. I do make use of save states between levels, though, because it became annoying to have to repeat the earlier levels over and over whenever I screwed up later on (failures won't be shown). Also, taking damage is not an automatic failure as long as I can quickly get another feather (reserve feather helps) and be able to take off again. There are a few areas where I can't fly effectively, but I try to do the best that I can.

This challenge was pretty fun, and I'm thankful for the save states between levels, because cape flying is a tricky thing, and having to repeat up to 11 levels because of one mistake is a bit much. Granted, there are places where I could've done better, but I think I put on a pretty good show.

Between-level save states did reduce the difficulty, but it preserved the sanity!
