Well, I decided to try this again, with the suggestion from nathanisbored that Yoshi jumps in mid-air won't count towards the total. Let's see how much I've improved over my previous total...

Also, I'm aware that this run can easily be bested with TAS maneuvers, but I'm doing this non-TAS here. Let me know if you want me to try TAS-ing this.
