In this part of my Final Fantasy 3 playthrough, I finish off those side missions I can complete right now, and each one had a doozy of a battle with them. At least they all gave me some Summoning Spells when I want to use a Summoner. Then I head off to the next part in my quest, which is deep in a mountain area.
