With Something in the Dirt, left field filmmaking duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead offer up an inventive mix of buddy comedy and sci-fi thriller filmed during lockdown to mirror the paranoid times we now find ourselves in.
Worth sticking with, it provides an alternative to splashy-crashy CGI heavy blockbusters if you fancy something a little more cerebral and low-fi.
