Something in the Shadows | "It's Always Watching You" [ Indie Horror Game ]
20Hey there, welcome to an indie horror game called Something in The Shadows. It's about a haunted house, you collect a bunch of notes and some spooky stuff happens.
At the end of the day, the game wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. While the visuals, sound, and atmosphere were nice, there just wasn't anything that stood out to me as overly impressive, everything was very bland. The "pick up x of object y" formula has been beaten to death over the years and is honestly extremely boring by this point. Another thing to point out, the enemy doesn't actually pursue you at all, everything is scripted.
