Something, something, buffalo - Hardspace: Shipbreaker Early Access Gameplay episode 9
Today me and the crew return to Hardspace: Shipbreaker, a game where you play as an orbital salvage engineer scrapping derelict space ships all so that you can pay off the massive debt that your corporate overlords incurred to get you into space to do their job for them. In this episode, as I state in every place I think it matters, this game is still in early access. One of the risks with such a game is loss of in game progress as updates change the game so fundamentally that old save files just won't work with the new program. This is the case this time, and so with the newest update comes a new playthrough, with a new opening, new progression mechanics, new character dialog, and some new backstory. But at the end of the day the Maw still hungers, and you still have to feed it. Enjoy. Episodes since last fatal in game accident: 9
