Now it is time to rescue Clank from the clutches of the thief as Ratchet tries to get to him, only to fall to the Thief's trap. After getting Clank back online, the robot uses an air duct to free himself and his Lombax friend. After finally opening a door to another way out, the duo finally decide to work together to getting the experiment back. The duo then face off against the Thugs-4-Less leader who has been paid to stop Ratchet and Clank in their tracks, only for the latter to prevail against the former. Ratchet then reunites with his own Swingshot and Grindboots before heading back to his ship to get to the destination of the Desert Riders.
