4Roq and Velle head to The Tower, which unlocks to Velle's DNA. Ascending The Tower reveals the back story of Ekzera. The snake people, Naga, were in a war with Velle's people. They would eat past the cerebellum and control the hosts mind. The Tower is actually a ship that is half powered already, ready to contact more Naga for reinforcements. After fighting two more Raduriel blobs and two Puriel Fire Lords on the way up, Roq encounters his friend, Kiel. Unfortunately he has been taken over by the Naga. After defeating Kiel, Roq and Velle head to the top to face Metatron, second Naga in command to the Archangel Naga. They defeat it, but the Lightning Witch from the Songbringer dungeon starts up the Tower with the Songbringer Core. Roq and Velle, with the help of Zero, enter meditation and turn battle the ship. They narrowly shut down The Tower's core before passing out.
