Welcome to the finished project of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Mania, a fangame that remasters much the original Sonic 2 game into the Mania artstyle and gameplay. The game has the drop dash and also includes some cut stages & elemental shields.

While having many great features, the fangame isn't fully completed and is no longer being developed. I've gone through as much of the completed stages as possible, any that cannot be finished legitimately will still be explored thanks to the debug mode. The end of the video shows the two extra stages after the main game.
