Green Hill was supposed to be the first zone and Under Ground makes more sense to be before Gimmick Mountain so I changed it using cheat codes. This game isn't as hard as many people say it is. It gives so many lives that basically if you know where the 1UPs are (which now there are more than one in every stage and they do respawn upon death), you can basically have an unlimited supply of lives. There are some bullshit parts in the game, but the game depends on memorization - if you play this game many times then you won't have a problem. After playing this game multiple times in one week I can safely say it's probably the best 8-bit Sonic game and it runs almost without lag. On another note, while the S1SMS Remake didn't change much of the level design, S2SMS Remake did change it to an unrecognizable state and I personally prefer the bullshit design of the original game. Also, the acceleration in this game if so fast that you can skip huge parts of the levels just by pressing down, right/left & jump.
