Sonic Advance 3 is My Favorite Sonic Game - Sonic Was Always Good
0I've been looking forward to making this video for a long time. My hand injury made me unable to play right as I was starting to time attack the game. But I finally got to finish it now that I'm mostly healed. And I think this game rules.
After playing this game so much and getting to experience classic Sonic gameplay, but evolved into something even better, I just cannot sympathize with people that like the alternate gameplay styles of the Adventure games. Screw mech shooting and all that. Give me proper Sonic gameplay with different characters and move sets that add variety without entirely changing genre. This is so astronomically better, and it's such a shame that this is as far as Sonic gameplay has ever been pushed. We could go even further. Like say, bringing this type of gameplay into 3D? But instead the boost came around and totally sent us into another direction... again.
btw, Freedom Planet 2 and Spark the Electric Jester 3 came out recently. Totally unrelated, I swear.
I also forgot to mention that Sonic & Cream can breath underwater. Nice little perk. And I quite like how the life icons are in the style of the Sonic & Knuckles logo. Very cool choice. Also, the music for Cyber Track is so sick. Go listen to it if you haven't.
