It was a close call, but Amy & Birdie managed to escape from Zero at the Final Egg.

According to the bird, however, it was trying to go back to the Egg Carrier, as it feels that its family is still there somewhere. So Amy decides to bring the Birdie back to that ship, which is now at say following its crash.

(I was there before for the Long Hammer).

Amy & Birdie reach the seabound Egg Carrier, and after a bit of searching around, Birdie did in fact find its family: a pink & grey Flicky!

But then... OH NO! The blue one got hit!

Zero STILL managed to catch up to Amy, and now attacked her little bird friend, sending it to the ground and knocking it out.

Amy was so upset... and then... she got ANGRY!

Amy had ENOUGH of this persistent robot, especially now after it hurt an innocent little bird...

After being chased around by Zero for so long, Amy Rose raised her hammer to fight back against her metal menace!

In Amy's first and last boss battle, you are surrounded by an electric fence. All you have to do is smack Zero towards the fence to stun him. This will open his head and expose his core, which you can then hit for damage.

This takes a bit longer than it should, because you can't hit Zero while his pounding the ground with his fists, which unleash shockwaves that you have to jump over.

But once he's done, HE'S DONE!

After turning Zero to scrap metal, Amy goes over to check on her blue Birdie friend along with the rest of its family. It woke up and tried to fly, but then after a scaring drop, manages to fly a-okay after all.

With this comforting relief, Amy waves goodbye to her bird friend as it soars through the skies, reunites with its family once more.

Amy felt proud of being able to accomplish this all by herself. It motivates her to find Sonic and make him realize that she's much more capable than just being a girl that always needs to be recused.

Amy's theme song for this game is "My Sweet Passion". It is essentially Amy's love song about Sonic. A song that not only emphasizes her desires to be with him, but also her desire to get the guy to respect her. Respect her just as he would with someone like Tails, and Amy has just shown in her ending here that she intends to drill all of this into Sonic no matter what it takes.

Thanks for watching this far into my playthrough of Sonic Adventure, but there is still ever-so-more to cover left.

Now I'm moving on to cover the most unusual character of this story: Big the Cat!
