Upon placing the seventh Chaos Emerald into the Eclipse Cannon, Dr. Eggman discovers what his grandfather's plan was. The Space Colony ARK begins to hurtle towards Earth at an incredible velocity. This was Gerald Robotnik's plan of revenge for GUN and the government killing his granddaughter Maria Robotnik 50 years ago during a raid on the ARK. Now Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy must team up with Rouge and Dr. Eggman to get to the Eclipse Cannon's core and stop the ARK from crashing into Earth. They don't have much time. Can Sonic and the gang stop the ARK from crashing?
