For the record, yes I do know there's a hack to do just this for the PC version in a much easier way. :P

Ok, so maybe this will make up for my little bout of video game amnesia earlier regarding Tails' workshop. Once again using the beta I've found a way to finish Emerald Coast with other characters. The only character I've found that it will always fail with is Tails. This is due to, (depending on the mode the level is played in) one of two things happening; the second segment automatically warping tails into the Sonic rescue cutscene, OR, unpreventable death which boots you back to station square.

I know for a fact that it works with knuckles and Amy. It SHOULD work with Big and Gamma, but they were never 100% tested. Big is buggy on Sonic's loops, and I haven't been able to get Gamma into the stage to test it yet.

P.S. Sorry about the single channel of audio, believe me, I know how annoying it can be. This is just raw unedited footage and my capture setup is rudimentary at best. Sorry. =/
