Finally, the last story, where we play as Super Sonic for the final battle. I gotta say, it was a pretty fun boss. Having to build up enough speed to actually hit Perfect Chaos and deal damage is a great concept, and I think it was executed well. I am of the opinion that the tense orchestral music for the second phase is a little strange, however. It's not bad, but it would've been better if they played that for the first phase to show that Perfect Chaos is a big, dangerous threat, then Open Your Heart plays in the second phase as if to say "Alright, Super Sonic! You got this, now finish him off!" Or maybe Open Your Heart should just play the entire time because it's such an awesome song.

So...yeah. That's it for my first playthrough of Sonic Adventure's story. To round out this playthrough, I'll say that I had fun with it, even playing with the JP dub with the retranslation mod. I'll admit that I started playing Sonic games with the Japanese dub with Sonic x Shadow Generations, and I did so for shits and giggles. It's the same reason I did so for this game, complete with the retranslation mod, but now I play these games in Japanese unironically. Even in Sonic Racing CrossWorlds (and Frontiers when I get around to playing it), I'll play with the Japanese dub just because I just like the Japanese voices better. Not to say the English dubs are bad, though. They're actually pretty good. That said, I want to do this again for Sonic Adventure 2 when I get around to doing that.

I would like to thank my best friend Kuronomi-chan for getting me into the Sonic series, I've always been pretty curious about it (especially since I found out that JP Classic Sonic is similar to one of my own original characters) and I'm glad I'm getting into this series...though I'll be staying away from the fanbase for my own sanity.
