Sonic Aether is a fan game developed by TJ9, and runs off of the Unity engine. This fan game isn't good, but it isn't bad either. The graphics are really good, even if Sonic looks a little off in my opinion. Music & SFX are good, though sometimes they can be too loud causing them to get muffled/bass boosted. As for the gameplay & level design, meh, it's fine. The physics along with the level design reminds me of something out of a Roblox Obby for some reason, and also, jumping is pretty floaty for all of the characters. I also heard from a review that if you changed the framerate, the jumping & movement becomes off, making it hard to beat the level for the demo. Also, credit from Nibroc-Rock could've been nice, since he made some of the renders that are shown on the menu, but sadly it wasn't included by the developer, not even on the credits. Personally, I'd recommend this one, even for it's somewhat jankiness. Also, if the longplay's framerate is laggy, well, blame that on OBS.
