Sonic the Hedgehog: Genesis is a port of the original Sega Genesis game to the GBA released by SEGA in 2006. And my god, this has to be one of the worst ports I've played so far. Graphics look good, but inaccurate with most things like the Marble Zone switches in SYZ & Labyrinth Zone, dithering on some of Sonic's sprites, and so on. Music & SFX are pretty bad compared to the original, but I have a guilty pleasure for them in a sense. And as for the physics & framerate of the actual game? Well, it's really, really bad. Honestly, I can also get by the screen crunch since I played the original so many times, but it can still catch me off guard most of the time. And don't even get me started on the Labyrinth Zone boss, I died so many times due to the bad physics. Though thankfully, I managed to pass it after many attempts. I also stayed to the right side on Final Zone, since the screen crunch is the worst there. I could go on and on about so many things this port does wrong, but this description is already long as-is, so I'll end it there.
